Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking experienced CVOR CSTs for travel assignments at a busy surgical center. The role involves supporting intraoperative cardiovascular surgeries and maintaining patient safety in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform sterile surgical duties as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the CVOR setting.
• Prepare operating rooms with the necessary equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and assist surgeons during complex cardiovascular surgeries.
• Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
• Follow facility policies regarding infection control, safety, and documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and work scheduled weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications:

• Hold at least 2 years of recent CVOR surgical technologist experience.
• Possess current CST certification and active state licensure if applicable.
• Demonstrate proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Able to work variable shifts, including early mornings and call.
• Exhibit excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
• Maintain current BLS/ACLS certifications as required.
