Seeking experienced CVOR CSTs for travel assignments at a busy surgical center. The role involves supporting intraoperative cardiovascular surgeries and maintaining patient safety in a dynamic environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform sterile surgical duties as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the CVOR setting.
- Prepare operating rooms with the necessary equipment and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
- Maintain sterile field and assist surgeons during complex cardiovascular surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgical and nursing teams to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
- Follow facility policies regarding infection control, safety, and documentation.
- Participate in on-call rotations and work scheduled weekends and holidays as required.
- Hold at least 2 years of recent CVOR surgical technologist experience.
- Possess current CST certification and active state licensure if applicable.
- Demonstrate proficiency in cardiovascular surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
- Able to work variable shifts, including early mornings and call.
- Exhibit excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Maintain current BLS/ACLS certifications as required.
- Gain valuable experience working in a high-volume cardiovascular surgery environment.
