As a Materials and Aging Management (MAM) Manager, you will lead and develop a team of engineers responsible for Reactor Vessel Internals (RVI) aging management, MRP‑227 inspection support, and long‑term operation programs for PWR and CE nuclear plant designs. You will report to the Director of Reactor Component Engineering and be located in Cranberry, PA. This role may be performed in a hybrid capacity. Key Responsibilities Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and formal performance evaluations. Support career development through training plans, stretch assignments, and succession planning. Build a collaborative team culture that emphasizes technical thoughtfulness, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing. Manage hiring, onboarding, workload leveling, and retention of critical technical talent. Oversee work planning, prioritization, and resource management across inspection support and aging‑management projects. Ensure high‑quality delivery of engineering work products according to internal quality processes and industry standards. Provide management‑level technical oversight for RVI inspection support, bolting analyses, aging‑management programs, and long‑term asset management activities. Serve as the primary management interface with industry organizations (e.g., EPRI MRP, PWROG) and company partners. Promote continuous improvement, collaboration, and a safety and quality culture. Coordinate emergent responses to customer issues. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Materials, Nuclear Engineering, or a related discipline. Typically 10 years of progressively responsible engineering and/or leadership experience. 5+ years of experience in nuclear plant engineering or long‑term operation programs. Experience as a people manager or team lead with responsibility for performance management and staff development. Excellent team‑building skills with the ability to engage with all kinds of team members. Benefits The base salary range for this position, depending on qualifications, is $130,400 to $163,000 per year.
