Team Lead – Event Operations

Binbox Lockers
Part-Time | Event-Based | Evenings & Weekends

Binbox is seeking a dependable, motivated  Team Lead to oversee onsite locker operations at sports and entertainment venues. The Team Lead serves as the onsite point person for Binbox during events and is responsible for leading Event Staff, ensuring equipment is operational, supporting customers, and completing all opening and closing procedures.

This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable taking ownership of a shift, leading a team, troubleshooting basic technology, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced event environment.

• Arrive prior to Event Staff and complete the venue  opening checklist .

• Confirm lockers, Android devices, connectivity, power sources, signage, and other equipment are operational and event-ready.

• Lead Event Staff and assign positions and responsibilities for each event.

• Conduct a pre-shift huddle covering event details, expectations, early entry/VIP times, dress code, breaks, and operational updates.

• Ensure staff clock in and out correctly and follow Binbox attendance and timekeeping procedures.

• Monitor locker utilization, customer traffic, and staffing needs throughout the event.

• Troubleshoot basic locker, payment, connectivity, and equipment issues.

• Escalate technical issues when additional Product or Operations support is required.

• Assist customers and resolve escalated customer service concerns professionally.

• Coordinate staff breaks while maintaining appropriate coverage.

• Maintain communication with venue security, guest services, and Binbox management as needed.

• Keep the locker area clean, organized, secure, and guest-ready.

• Complete all  closing procedures , including checking lockers, securing equipment, and confirming the site is properly closed.

• Report damaged or offline lockers, missing equipment, incidents, inventory needs, and other operational concerns.

• Submit an accurate  end-of-event recap with staffing, utilization, equipment, customer, and operational updates.

• Assist with training and mentoring new Binbox Event Staff.

• Reinforce Binbox policies, procedures, and service standards.

• Previous experience in event operations, hospitality, customer service, retail, security, or team leadership preferred.

• Strong leadership and communication skills.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to take ownership of assigned events.

• Comfortable providing direction and holding team members accountable.

• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

• Comfortable working with mobile devices, apps, and basic technology.

• Able to remain calm and professional during high-volume periods.

• Ability to work independently while communicating effectively with management.

• Must be available for a flexible event schedule, including  evenings, weekends, and holidays .

• Must be able to remain onsite through the completion of assigned event operations.

A successful Binbox Team Lead understands that this position is more than working an event.  The Team Lead owns the shift.

You will be responsible for ensuring the  team is prepared, the product is operational, customers are supported, the venue is properly opened and closed, and management receives accurate updates after every event.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, dependable, professional, organized, and willing to step in wherever needed to ensure a successful operation.

This is a  part-time, event-based position . Hours will vary based on the venue event calendar and may include nights, weekends, holidays, concerts, sporting events, and other special events.
