Registered Nurse for a Skilled Nursing Facility in Stockton, 6am to 230pm

Full-Time Nurse Opportunity

We are looking for a full-time nurse to join the team!!! Family owned and operated long term care facility in the heart of downtown Stockton needs you to make this the best facility in town! Under new leadership with a recent facility wide wage increase, our 99 bed facility with a diverse demographic of residents could use your compassion and skills. The right candidate would possess an unencumbered RN license in the state of California, no experience necessary. The best pay in town! Hourly rate is negotiable.

Job duties include but are not limited to, providing nursing care within scope of practice to ensure patient's needs are met in accordance with standards of practice, physician orders, center policies and procedures, and state, federal and local guidelines.

Principal Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge and appropriate use of the Company Infection Control Manual.
• Understands, participates and assists in implementing the Quality Improvement Program.
• Utilizes the Quality Life Manual for identification, placement, and monitoring of patients in the appropriate programs.
• Notifies other Departments of patient changes, i.e., room changes, LOA, new admits, discharge, etc.
• Conducts family and patient education.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer medications timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates the ability to administer treatments timely and according to facility policy.
• Demonstrates ability to receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders, if allowed by Nurse Practice Act
• Makes rounds with physicians when necessary.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as RN in California
