Job Description

The CT Technician will primarily work in a hospital radiology department, operating CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Reporting to the Radiology Supervisor, they will focus on accurate imaging while maintaining patient safety and comfort during standard night shifts.

13 Week Contract with the option to extend

Nights: 12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) - 7 ON/ 7 OFF

Every Other Weekend

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures following established protocols
• Prepare patients for scans, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Analyze CT images for quality and clarity
• Calibrate and maintain CT scanning equipment
• Adhere to radiation safety standards to protect patients and staff
• Maintain accurate records of imaging procedures
• Participate in quality control initiatives
• Support patients throughout the imaging process

 

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in CT scanning
• Certification in Computed Tomography
• ARRT Certification
• BLS certification
• Knowledge of Radiologic Technology and Radiation Safety
• Strong understanding of anatomy
• Effective communication skills
• Attention to detail and time management abilities
• Ability to work well within a team
