What You'll Do:

• Provide top-tier emergency nursing care to patients with complex, high-acuity conditions such as strokes, cardiovascular issues, diabetes, wounds, behavioral health concerns, and sepsis.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your clinical judgment and nursing skills.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver holistic care, including assessments, treatment administration, patient education, and documentation.
• Handle a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:1 ensuring quality care and safety.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from AHA.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency or high-acuity setting.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a high-stress environment.
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and communication skills.
• Availability to work every other weekend; no on-call required.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with trauma cases and behavioral health.
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Additional certifications or specialized training in emergency or critical care.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• At least 1 year of relevant clinical experience in high-acuity emergency nursing.

Other Requirements:

• Must be willing to work night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM.
• Attendance at a comprehensive onboarding program including organizational and ED-specific training within the first 30 days.
• No floating required; work location will be consistent.
