What You'll Need:

• Valid RN license in New Mexico or a compact state license
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of recent critical care experience preferred; new graduates with a passion for ICU are encouraged to apply
• TNCC certification required for preferred expertise in trauma nursing
• Proven ability to independently manage complex patient situations and demonstrate strong clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and patient education skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with ventilator management, post-CABG care, or diabetic ketoacidosis cases
• Knowledge of cardiac and medical ICU protocols
• Ability to adapt quickly to evolving clinical situations and multi-disciplinary teams

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not mandatory
• Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience is strongly valued, with new graduates considered for this rewarding role

Other Requirements:

• Current New Mexico RN license or in a compact state
• Must be available to work 7 PM to 7 AM overnight shifts on a consistent basis
• Willingness to work every other weekend, with no on-call required
• No floating between units; dedicated ICU assignment only
• Travel and license reimbursement, paid sick leave, comprehensive medical benefits, and competitive hourly pay of $62.31/hour (up to $80/hour depending on additional assignments)
