Travel Registered Nurse – Telemetry I (Nights Shift)

What You'll Do:

As a Telemetry RN, you will be responsible for independently delivering high-quality, routine, and complex cardiac care to patients. Your expertise will help monitor patient progress, administer treatments, and provide education to patients and their families. You'll work collaboratively with a supportive team, managing patient needs efficiently in a setting with a nurse/patient ratio of 5:1-6:1. Your role will also involve making clinical judgments, delegating tasks appropriately, and ensuring patient safety at all times.

Required Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state of employment or a valid compact license
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a cardiac or telemetry setting
• Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Flexibility to work the night shift (7PM - 7AM)

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with step-down units or additional specialized certifications
• Bilingual abilities to support diverse patient populations
• Previous travel nursing experience

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a related specialty

Other Requirements:

• Must attend new nurse orientation within the first 30 days
• Participation in a residency or orientation program if newly licensed
• Ability to work every other weekend; no on-call required
• Willingness to travel and work in various locations, with potential for temp-to-perm opportunities
• Valid licensure, certifications, and compliance with all healthcare regulations
