Required Skills:

• Valid RN license in the state of employment or a compact license
• Current BLS certification from AHA
• ACLS certification from AHA
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate clinical competence
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and patient communication skills
• Ability to administer and monitor treatments and medications accurately
• Strong documentation skills and adherence to standards of care

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in a cardiac and telemetry setting
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Additional certification in specialized areas of cardiology or telemetry
• Bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• At least 1 year of relevant nursing experience in cardiac or telemetry units
• Prior experience with long-range planning and patient education

Other Requirements:

• Ability to work 3 days, 12-hour shifts (day shift: 7AM - 7PM)
• Every other weekend work schedule
• No on-call required
• Travel reimbursement, licensure, certification, and travel-related expenses covered as applicable
• Compliance with all required orientation and competency validations
