Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients of all ages, employing standardized assessments and observational strategies.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to meet both immediate and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing objectives.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy services focusing on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing difficulties.
• Collaborate seamlessly with physical therapists, occupational therapists, healthcare professionals, caregivers, and families to ensure an integrated approach to care.
• Educate patients and their families to foster progress beyond clinical visits.
• Participate in delivering inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to maintain continuity in care throughout the treatment process.
• Ensure meticulous documentation meets all state, federal, and institutional regulations.
• Stay informed on the latest clinical practices through ongoing education and collaboration with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Licensure and Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire.
