Service Support Specialist

We are looking for a Service Support Specialist to join the Longview, Texas Field Service team. The Service Support Specialist will provide support to internal and external customers regarding the status of field service (mechanical) and field service engineering (electrical) work. What You Will Do Assist and respond to internal and external customer inquiries via email, Teams, phone, etc. Communicate to internal and external customers requesting information that includes quotes, post job estimates, purchase orders, vendor quotes, job status changes and other information pertaining to the SRO itself. Communicate with field service technicians, foremen and engineers when information is needed to process an SRO for invoicing. Coordinating with the Services Manager if there are issues receiving required information. Key expenses, mileage and apply tool crib material to SRO's. Process customer Purchase Orders (POs) on SRO's as directed by the Flanders AR, PO process. Ensure that the work scope/quote matches the PO number or the customer approval amount. Manually key service employee's time entries submitted daily. Create purchase order requisitions for materials and equipment used on field service jobs and communicate with the buyer for each RSC. Email field service reports to the salesperson when applicable. Respond to service requests in a courteous and timely manner. Process multiple requests throughout the day. What You Need: Education High school diploma or equivalent. Experience Three years of office administrative experience in a heavy industrial work environment. Office duties experience in motor repair, field service and/or heavy industrial office a plus. Other Strong communication both written and verbal skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer skills including Microsoft software and database software. Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division including understanding fractions and percentages.
