Our private equity client is seeking the right Chief Executive Officer to lead one of its portfolio companies, a B2B tech‑enabled services business. The sponsor is bullish about its investment thesis in this acquired platform. They are prepared to invest heavily to drive the company's scale using both inorganic and organic methods.

COMPENSATION

Business Model: Tech-Enabled Services End Market: B2B Revenue Range: Mid-market Hold Period: Exit planned for 2029 Deal Structure: Control buyout

INVESTMENT THESIS

Transform the business and drive scale within 4-5 years. Transform this entrepreneurially led company into a powerful platform business. Acquire add‑ons that will add scale, product, cross‑sell, and multiple arbitrage. Build and implement a Go‑To‑Market strategy and playbook.

THE SPONSOR

This private equity firm has a solid history of scaling businesses. Its sector specialties include healthcare, food & beverage, business services, and real estate. Today the sponsor owns over 200 portfolio companies.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

We seek a passionate, committed leader with a contagious will to win who can honor this company's past while also leading it into the future. Our ideal candidate's background most likely includes: Business Model: B2B Tech‑Enabled Services or Professional Services Functional: CEO of a $75mm-$200mm business, or #2 COO/President/CCO/CRO of a $200-500mm revenue business Orientation: Commercial orientation is required with related experience across sales, strategy, and GTM.
