Analyst - Data Administration (2610002642) Summary Seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join the Data Admin team. This position is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of various enterprise-wide applications, and for the creation, maintenance, and archiving of all referential Master Data to ensure integrity and uniformity across business groups. The role requires interaction with internal departments and external customers and vendors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Administer and support various enterprise applications, including SAP/IS-OIL, Synthesis, eXSite/Dearman, PFIS, T4, Pipeline Scheduler, WellTrax, RightAngle, OceanSmart Smart Vetting, and Aveva. Perform application configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance to optimize performance, efficiency, and security. Create, maintain, and archive referential and master data to ensure consistency and integrity across all business groups. Understand and manage multi‑tier software environments, including front‑end interfaces, middleware, and backend databases. Manage middleware interface applications and cross‑reference tables to support integration across systems. Act as liaison with vendors, customers, and internal departments, including Pipeline Operations, Terminals, Crude Trucking, measurement, scheduling, Finance, Business Development, Accounting, and IT. Document and capture referential data management processes to ensure requirements are met and to support corporate compliance, SOX validation, controls, and reporting. Requirements Quick learner with strong desire to understand underlying business processes. Ability to provide and receive input during problem‑solving sessions. Work hours include on‑call support, including nights and weekend hours; team members rotate weeks for after‑hours support for urgent incidents. Exhibit a sense of urgency, individual responsibility, and willingness to accept constantly changing priorities. Trusted advisor, helping the business make informed decisions by presenting relevant system solutions, alternatives, and evaluating impacts of proposed changes. Strong customer‑relations skills and ability to work with management, external departments, and consultants. Solid time‑management skills with ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and function independently and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong relationship‑management skills. Experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.). General knowledge of accounting information systems, business operations, processes, and information flow. Possibility of overnight travel. Required Experience Specialist/Analyst level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2‑5 years of relevant experience. Senior Specialist/Analyst level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 5‑8 years of relevant experience. Lead Specialist/Analyst level: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 8+ years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of SAP (IS‑OIL, RightAngel, interfaces and cross‑reference tables). Experience with Emerson Pipeline Scheduler. Experience with Schneider Offsites Terminal suite. Experience with Emerson Synthesis. Working Conditions Normal office working conditions. Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasional overnight travel may be required. Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings with exposure to materials and chemicals, extreme temperatures, loud machinery, and required personal protective equipment.
