Hospitalist Physician Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of hospitalist, internal medicine, or inpatient medicine experience
• Active physician credentials and eligibility to practice in Texas
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day and night coverage
• Strong clinical judgment, medical decision-making, and communication skills
• Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care hospital environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient care for adult hospital medicine patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute medical conditions
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the care team to support safe, effective treatment plans
• Document patient encounters clearly and accurately in the medical record
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and adjust care plans as needed
• Support high-quality, patient-centered hospitalist services in a clinical setting
