Member Team Lead

Position Summary Assists management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, and providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures, supports the Open Door Policy, participates in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates, communicates and supports membership by providing information on membership types, programs, and benefits, processes memberships and upgrades, encourages membership renewals, participates in sales and marketing events, completes marketing recaps, and strives to meet membership goals. Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, assisting with purchasing decisions and merchandise location, supporting self-service technology and transaction processes, and ensuring club pick-up orders are fulfilled. Oversees the assigned area by handling claims, returns, zoning, merchandise arranging, identifying shrink and damage, managing carts, assisting with transport equipment, maintaining parking lot cleanliness, and completing accounting records, transactions, and documentation. Assists with financial analysis, accounting investigations, daily deposits, Cash Fund Transfers, and cash drawer accuracy. Develops processes and practices, collaborates with managers and partners, monitors progress, addresses improvement opportunities, promotes compliance, and implements action plans. Leads teams, shares resources, determines priorities, provides feedback, and supports change adaptability. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Minimum Qualifications 6 months of retail experience, including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register). 6 months of customer service experience. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Leading a front-end team and supervising experience, including hiring, evaluating, mentoring, developing, and managing the workload of others.
