Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Turret Press Operator with a focus on setup to join our dynamic team in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our manufacturing process, ensuring that our turret press machines operate efficiently and produce high-quality components. If you have a passion for precision and a knack for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities- Set up and calibrate CNC turret press machines for production runs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine setup requirements.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance productivity.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of machine setups and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Turret Press Operator or similar role.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
