We're Hiring: Accounts Payable Specialist | Everett, WA
I'm partnering with a growing CleanTech and sustainable materials company to find an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team in Everett, WA. This is an onsite, direct-hire opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, working independently, and helping improve processes in a fast-growing environment.
What you'll be doing:
- Own day-to-day AP operations for a business unit, from invoice processing through payment coordination.
- Manage high-volume workflows, help clear an existing backlog, and maintain accuracy.
- Apply a solid understanding of accruals and basic accounting principles.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and support evolving systems and workflows.
- Work closely with the AP and Purchasing Manager in a dynamic, growing business.
What we're looking for:
- 6+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience.
- Strong understanding of accruals and fundamental accounting concepts.
- Ability to manage the day-to-day workload with limited supervision.
- Experience in a PE-backed, startup, manufacturing, or fast-growing business is a plus.
- ERP experience preferred; QuickBooks and NetSuite experience are beneficial.
- Familiarity with procurement and purchasing platforms such as Zip, Coupa, Ariba, or similar systems is a plus.
Compensation: $30–$35/hour, with flexibility for the right candidate
