Operations Coordinator

This is a hands-on operations role supporting our educators and the broader business. You will help keep day-to-day operations moving by coordinating schedules and communications, responding to calls and messages, maintaining records and internal materials, supporting onboarding and training, and assisting with administrative and operational projects. The work is varied, and the right person should be comfortable wearing multiple hats. Some responsibilities will be routine, while others will require you to troubleshoot problems, communicate with external partners, research solutions, and figure out an approach where one does not already exist.

Both styles have value. This particular role requires an Outcome Owner mindset. You will receive clear goals, resources, and support, but you will not receive a detailed daily checklist for every situation. We are looking for someone who can think through problems, roll up their sleeves, and keep work moving without needing constant direction.

You will thrive here if:

• You are warm, approachable, and respectful: Especially when dealing with people who report to you, rely on you, or need your help. We are not looking for someone who becomes short, dismissive, condescending, or difficult simply because they have a little authority.
• You can take ownership without waiting for every step: You can take a loosely defined assignment, figure out what needs to happen, and move it forward without waiting for every step to be explained.
• You are comfortable making reasoned mistakes, not lazy mistakes: We would rather you make a thoughtful decision that needs to be adjusted than make a careless decision because you did not take the time to think, check, or use the information available to you.
• You keep your commitments: If you have a pattern of last-minute call-outs, frequently changing plans, or committing to things you cannot consistently follow through on, this is not the role for you.
• You write polished communications: You use correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, and formatting.
• You pick up the phone: You are comfortable speaking professionally and handling routine issues without avoiding the conversation.
• You manage multiple moving pieces: You keep track of details, notice missing information and loose ends, and follow up until each one is actually complete.
• You are resourceful and willing to challenge what is not working: When you do not know the answer, you research it and come back with a practical solution. You are comfortable researching and recommending new tools, suggesting better methods, and speaking up when a current process is not working as well as it should.
• You learn systems quickly: You can learn unfamiliar software and systems without needing extensive hand-holding.
