NICU RN 36hr Day position

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse

The Messina Family Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at South Shore Hospital is the first and only Level III NICU located in a community hospital in Massachusetts. The Level III Messina Family NICU and the Level II Andrade Family Special Care Nursery enable us to care for babies born at any time in pregnancy who have a wide range of medical conditions. The unit is staffed by doctors, nurses, and respiratory therapists with specific training in the care of ill, premature, and recovery newborns. Our NICU doctors are dually affiliated with both South Shore Hospital and Boston Children's Hospital. ***3-5 years current NICU RN experience required***

Compensation Pay Range: $38.20 - $77.39

Minimum Education - Preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Minimum Work Experience Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications:

• RN - Registered Nurse
• Depending on department Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification, Emergency Response Training Certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC), Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) Certification may be required

(12) hr day shift (7:00am-7:30pm) every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday rotation.
