Assembler

Position Summary Perform various assemblies of stainless steel, brass, MPI, and exotic parts using components and body‑level parts. Fill customer orders by boxing, labeling, and preparing assembled parts for shipping. Responsibilities Read and follow instructions in accordance with billing material shippers. Accurately assemble parts. Document requirements for verification of completed assemblies. Complete customer orders by boxing and labeling individual parts effectively and efficiently for shipment to the customer. Maintain supply components at workstation. Work as part of the Team to accomplish daily goals. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Participate in Warehouse HPT and 5S duties. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or designee. Education, Credentials and Previous Experience High School Diploma Technical Depth and Breadth Basic knowledge and ability to use web‑based programs for labeling and other business applications (SAP). Ability to understand basic standard instructions and order specifications. Working knowledge of basic simple mechanical mechanisms. Problem Solving and Analytical Skills Perform tasks with little supervision. Able to effectively work on and manage multiple tasks daily, communicate professionally with co‑workers, show flexibility to learn multiple jobs within the department, and demonstrate aptitude to perform essential job functions listed above. Actively participate in improvement activities, Lean projects. Teamwork and Interpersonal Skills Dependable, prompt, and reliable with good overall attendance. Physical and Mental Demand With or without reasonable accommodation: Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods of time. Frequently required to work around and/or visit manufacturing operations exposed to noise, fumes, heavy machinery, and other shop‑related hazards.
