Position Overview We're on the hunt for a skilled and empathetic Sonography / Ultrasound Specialist to join our expanding team of imaging experts delivering top-tier care. Armed with the latest ultrasound technology, you will conduct diagnostic procedures, collaborate with an encouraging team of healthcare professionals, and bring comfort to patients through precise and timely imaging. Description of Responsibilities
- Execute a wide range of ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and other key imaging.
- Prioritize patient safety and comfort during exams, explaining each stage of the process with sensitivity and clarity.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists and physicians to ensure the highest quality of diagnostic images.
- Utilize and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any issues without delay.
- Document procedures thoroughly and manage patient records within the electronic health system.
- Stay informed of advancements in ultrasound technologies and best practice methodologies.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
- Graduates of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program are preferred.
- Active certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
- Demonstrable proficiency in sonographic imaging techniques and patient positioning.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
