- Lead day-to-day hospital operations to deliver excellent client service and patient care
- Hire, train, schedule, and develop support teams; set clear goals and provide timely feedback and performance reviews
- Partner closely with the lead veterinarian/medical leadership to align medical standards with operational excellence
- Manage payroll, timekeeping, and labor targets; ensure accurate daily financials
- Oversee inventory, vendor relationships, purchasing, and facility maintenance
- Guide budgeting, revenue growth initiatives, and expense management; monitor KPIs and P&L
- Maintain compliant policies and procedures; support safety, quality, and regulatory adherence
- Elevate the client experience by resolving concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Support accurate billing, charge capture, and local accounting functions
- Champion a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- At least 5 years of office management experience, including 2 or more years in a supervisory role
- Veterinary or healthcare practice leadership experience strongly preferred; CVPM or MHA a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management software
- Demonstrated strength in hiring, coaching, and team development
- Solid financial acumen across budgeting, forecasting, and KPI tracking
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong time-management and organization
- Ability to work around animals and typical clinical substances; capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as needed
- Flexibility to support a schedule that may include some weekends and holidays
- License to practice in Colorado, as applicable to credentials for this role, and eligibility to work in the United States Apply
