Litigation Paralegal

Litigation Paralegal Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our securities practice group. This is a full-time position in our Stamford CT office working with a team throughout the country. Remote work will be considered for the right candidate. Responsibilities Work with Supervising Paralegal and the rest of the support team to assist attorneys with a variety of case related tasks; Advanced knowledge of the U.S. Court system, processes involved in litigation, and proper procedures for initiating cases; Oversee cases from inception through to completion (including, discovery, settlement, and mediation/arbitration); Manage document storage and filing to ensure impeccable records are maintained for case files, client data, call summaries, etc.; Moderate to advanced knowledge of case calendaring and timelines to assist with the maintenance and management of attorney and case calendars; Update and normalize spreadsheets of client data; Advanced knowledge of proper grammar and formatting styles for use in preparing briefs, memoranda, exhibits, and letters; Familiarity with Bluebook system of citation and ability to complete a comprehensive review of lengthy briefs for proper citation; Ability to create tables of contents and authorities, including proper tagging of citations and use of styles; Efiling in federal district courts, including the use of PACER, CM/ECF; Efiling in state/local courts, including the ability to research the correct process and documents needed for filing; and Assist attorneys with client communications and client development as needed Qualifications Minimum of 1 years of experience Paralegal certificate Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and Sharepoint research platforms, including Westlaw, Lexis+, and CourtLink knowledge of Clio a plus knowledge of CourtDrive also a plus Other Qualifications Tech-savvy with the ability to comfortably navigate various platforms and AI programs; Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and a proven ability to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities Upbeat and calm demeanor Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading experience; and Paralegal certificate is a plus The Firm Levi & Korsinsky, LLP is a national law firm with decades of combined experience litigating complex securities class actions in state and federal courts throughout the country.
