Physical Therapist - Inpatient Rehabilitation

Location: Crown Point, Indiana

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 1-2; 1-2; 1-2; 1-2 (Days) - Weekend Hours: Every Other Weekend

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist specializing in inpatient rehabilitation. The selected candidate will work in a free-standing inpatient rehabilitation hospital, providing therapy services to adult patients with various conditions, including stroke, brain injury, debility, amputation, and neurological disorders.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients.
• Implement therapeutic interventions to enhance patient mobility and function.
• Collaborate with a cohesive team of therapy and nursing professionals.
• Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes and home exercises.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Indiana.
• 1-2 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation preferred.
• Experience with adult patient populations, particularly those recovering from strokes and neurological disorders.
