Registered Nurse- Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric

Overview We are looking for RNs with at least 1 year of experience for a full‑time day shift position on the Adolescent Inpatient Psych Unit. The RN delivers care to children and adolescents with complex behavioral and emotional needs and supports both the Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatric Unit and the Behavioral Health Access Center (Psychiatric Holding Unit). Responsibilities include working with an interdisciplinary team, participating in treatment planning, implementing therapeutic interventions, leading nursing enrichment activities, establishing therapeutic boundaries, and de‑escalating situations. Building relationships with patients and families is essential. Unit Information
- This position is referral eligible.
- Nursing skills gained: verbal de‑escalation; training in both an emergency crisis unit and an inpatient psychiatric unit.
- Unit successes/designations: new psych holding unit opened in the Emergency Department in February 2025; ranked in the top 50 by US News & World Report for Pediatric & Adolescent Behavioral Health 2024‑2025.
