When not directly interacting with customers, collaborate with colleagues in the office. Trane in Tampa, FL is hiring an Energy Services Project Manager. The Energy Services Project Manager is responsible for project financials, administration, implementation, management, and customer satisfaction for all assigned projects. They lead the project team through all facets of the project and serve as the established point of contact for stakeholders. The manager oversees a portfolio of projects that may include multi‑building or complex construction projects and supports sales functions by developing scope. What You Will Do Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, implementing corrective action, and developing communication plans with both internal and external stakeholders to provide timely project updates. Lead all aspects of project administration, including knowledge of contract penalty clauses and liquidated damages, analysis of reports to identify deficiencies, and guidance on corrective actions. Ensure project documentation, safety guidelines, and governance agency requirements are met at state, city, county, federal, and local levels. Manage all financial aspects of projects: cash flow, monthly forecasted cost/revenue, forecasted cost at completion, expense monitoring, collections support, applied cost, and preparation of communications for monthly backlog reviews with leaders. Validate project scope, cost, and schedule by reviewing contract documents, holding internal meetings, establishing customer expectations, and identifying risks with mitigation plans. Utilize qualified subcontractors, oversee the subcontractor RFQ process, award subcontracts, manage execution, and collaborate with subcontractors to establish communication guidelines for project progress, meetings, billing expectations, and safety. Create and maintain project schedules utilizing tasks, dependencies, and milestones. What You Will Bring Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Construction Project Management degree preferred. 3-5 years’ experience with project schedules or construction management software. Extensive financial analysis experience, including cost segregation, margin analysis, earned value management (EVM), or similar project‑based financial methodologies. Strong financial project management ability with sufficient technical or construction knowledge to manage scope, schedule, and risk. Prior experience resolving collections and customer financial issues during project execution. Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations, including, but not limited to, DUI, hit & run, license suspension, reckless or careless driving, or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous three years.
