*Up to a $1,000 Sign on Bonus Available* Baptist Primary Care is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant for our Fernandina Beach office. This is a Full-Time opportunity working Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-5:00PM. The ideal candidate will perform back office Medical Assistant duties, such as rooming patients, obtaining vitals, and assisting the provider. Certified Medical Assistant, Job Responsibilities: Provides medical assistance to physicians Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit Maintains medical documentation Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician Processes prescription requests and referrals Experience Requirements: 2+ years Patient Care Experience Experience in Physician's office Education & Credential Requirements: High School Diploma/GED Required Associate of Arts/Science Preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Certified Medical Assistant Required High School Experience in Physician's office Medical Training Program Patient Care Experience Medical Assistant Experience Experience working in a Physician's office Medical Office Experience Immunization Experience Clinical Experience Experience working in a Medical Office Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) - AAMA Chosen as the area's “Most Preferred” healthcare provider every year since 1990 according to theannual National Research Corporation study of Jacksonville area residents, Baptist Health rankshighest in the categories of Best Doctors, Best Nurses, Best Quality and Best Reputation. #J-18808-Ljbffr Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville
