Your Role Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well Work as a team to achieve the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness Walk all assigned floors at the beginning and end of each shift to collect bags, trash, and soiled linen Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry Deliver towels, cribs, cots and other items to the guest rooms on request Perform duties of a room attendant when necessary Refill the par stock of guest amenities and supplies on each floor pantry Help the room attendants with heavy lifting during deep or spring cleaning of rooms Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following departmental standard operating procedures Remove soiled linen and trash from all service areas and take to appropriate locations in the prescribed manner Always respond in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other team members Qualifications Housekeeping experience desirable Neat, pleasant personality Time‑management skills Ability to work on feet for an extended period Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members Physical ability to move, traverse, and position self to reach corners on floors and high places; detect odors; operate equipment such as spray bottles, vacuums, mops, brooms, dust pans, scrub pads, and dusters; and lift or carry loads of up to 100 lbs Lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs Must be able to work holidays and weekends Compensation Compensation is commensurate with experience and qualifications; actual packages vary by candidate based on skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
