Guest Relations Manager

You will manage the complete admissions experience for a campus, beginning with the initial application and concluding with enrollment. This is not a role where responsibility changes hands. You determine how families perceive us, how well they grasp the model, and whether they enroll for the right reasons. You will evaluate compatibility, facilitate informed discussions, and advise against enrollment when appropriate. The objective is not filling seats. The objective is ensuring alignment. What You Will Be Doing Managing the complete enrollment experience for prospective families, starting with initial outreach and continuing through onboarding. Facilitating needs-based conversations to evaluate compatibility before offering recommendations or advancing to the next phase. Overseeing 20+ concurrent family relationships across varying enrollment stages, with transparent tracking of progress and follow-up actions. Guiding campus visits, shadow day experiences, and enrollment discussions that convey outcomes, standards, and the ideal candidate profile with clarity. Keeping CRM and enrollment data (HubSpot and SIS) current and precise to enable forecasting, prioritization, and service excellence. What You Won’t Be Doing Applying transactional or aggressive sales methods. Accepting families who are not aligned in order to meet enrollment targets. Overseeing a sizable team or working through complex approval hierarchies. Dividing responsibility for the family experience across several individuals. Operating remotely. This position is intentionally campus-based. Director Of Guest Relations Key Responsibilities Lead and deliver a high-integrity, highly selective enrollment process that attracts aligned families while safeguarding the quality and effectiveness of the Alpha model. Basic Requirements 3+ years providing premium, individualized service in contexts where the quality of service directly shapes brand perception (education, upscale hospitality, executive coordination, premium membership, or independently operated client services). Proven ownership of a complete client, admissions, or enrollment process from initial engagement through onboarding. Experience managing 20+ concurrent client, guest, or family relationships at varying stages, supported by a structured approach to tracking and prioritization. Ability to share specific examples of consultative judgment, including instances where you recommended against your offering when alignment was lacking. Professional written communication skills with senior leaders, high-net-worth clients, or discerning audiences. Willingness to reside in or relocate within 60 days to one of these locations: Malibu, CA; Los Angeles, CA; or Santa Barbara, CA. Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship. Nice-to-have Requirements Experience in selective independent school admissions or enrollment for competitive programs. Background in upscale hospitality, VIP guest relations, or executive-level coordination. Experience developing or enhancing enrollment workflows, standard operating procedures, or service benchmarks. Proficiency using data and CRM analytics to refine enrollment quality, not simply conversion speed. Working with us This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
