Per Diem, Less than 20 hours per week, Amherst, MA, US Salary Range: $18.62 To $26.52 Hourly We are a provider‑owned, multi‑specialty group. Position Phlebotomist Location Amherst, MA Hours Per diem, typical hours Monday‑Friday generally between 6:30am‑5:00pm. Hours may vary depending on department needs. Exact schedule to be discussed at time of interview. Job Overview As a Phlebotomist, the candidate must have the ability to collect blood from patients of all ages through venipuncture. A successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, good customer service skills, and be proficient in computers, data entry, and the operation of equipment. Job Responsibilities Collect samples from patients of all ages Process and accession clinical specimens Check patients in and out, schedule appointments, answer phones, greet patients Required Qualifications Graduate from a Phlebotomy Program or Medical Assistant Program Previous customer service or medical office experience High School graduate or equivalent Preferred Qualifications CPT preferred, but not required EMR experience preferred, Athena experience a plus Equity and Inclusion We Value Employee Engagement and Inclusive Practices.
