Physician - Regional Anesthesiologist

About the Role Ochsner Health in New Orleans is searching for BC/BE, Fellowship‑trained Regional Anesthesiologists to join our expanding team of Regional Anesthesiology faculty. The successful candidate will need substantive experience or fellowship training in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management. This opportunity includes involvement with our Acute Pain Service and fellowship training program as well as our highly successful Perioperative Surgical Home. Staff will rotate at our orthopedic specialty hospital as well as our tertiary‑care referral hospital locations. In addition to supervising residents and fellows, staff will perform many of their own regional block procedures. Our Regional Anesthesiology team performs over 6,000 regional blocks a year and our volume continues to grow each year. Responsibilities Supervise residents and fellows Perform regional block procedures Participate in the Acute Pain Service and fellowship training program Rotate at the orthopedic specialty hospital and tertiary‑care referral hospital locations Support the Perioperative Surgical Home Qualifications BC/BE in Anesthesiology Fellowship training in Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Management Substantial experience performing regional blocks (volume around 6,000 blocks annually) Benefits We offer a competitive salary, paid call coverage, a dedicated allowance and CME time off, professional dues coverage, malpractice coverage, and a comprehensive benefits program.
