Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans based on patients' needs. This includes guiding patients through therapeutic exercises designed to optimize recovery.
• Provide hands-on manual therapy to enhance mobility and alleviate pain, integrating techniques unique to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Educate patients about rehabilitation techniques, injury prevention, and self-management strategies to empower them in their recovery process.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient progress, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to track outcomes and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and seamless patient experiences.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and strategies for enhancing therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In Motion Physical Therapy focuses primarily on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgery, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will work with a diverse clientele, from athletes recovering from sports-related injuries to older adults improving their mobility post-surgery. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Must possess an active Physical Therapist Assistant license to practice in California.
• A minimum of two years of experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting, providing a strong foundation in manual therapy and rehabilitative techniques.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this role ranges from USD 75,000 to 85,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
