Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Physical Therapists to aid in the execution of individualized treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Assist with therapeutic exercises, balance training, and mobility techniques, ensuring patient safety and proper technique.
• Maintain therapy environments by ensuring equipment is clean, organized, and ready for use, which includes preparing treatment areas before sessions.
• Support administrative aspects of patient care, including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and documenting therapy sessions within electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT.
• Engage with patients to motivate and educate them about their rehabilitation process, ensuring they understand their treatment goals and progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a PTA in our orthopedic outpatient clinic, your primary focus will be on a diverse range of patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field or an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.

• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to streamline documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits
