Job Description
Title: Medical Assistant - Dermatology

Schedule:
- Shift: Day shift, Monday to Friday
- Weekends: Not required

Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Requirements:
- Certification: Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) required
- Experience: At least 6 months of outpatient clinical experience required
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Certifications: BLS required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Room patients and take vitals.
- Document medical history, medications, and allergies.
- Assist in positioning and draping for procedures.
- Prepare and set up for procedures (biopsies, sterile trays, dressing changes).
- Label specimens and assist in wound care.
- Perform basic front-desk tasks, including scheduling and phone triage.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 40 hours
- References: 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Background checks and drug screens may be required.
- Scrub color: Any
