Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper). Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bascarts for checkout. Offer help to customers with loading bags into their cars. Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials. Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return bascarts, clean spills, trash, and all store areas. Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines. Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed. Create a welcoming environment, assist customers with questions, and follow all laws and company guidelines. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity. Support and assist with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
