Staffing & Human Resources Director Full Time – Arden, NC, US Summary of Position: The Staffing & Human Resources Director is responsible for staff recruiting, hiring, onboarding, reviewing, and offboarding of staff at Biltmore Church. This role works closely with hiring managers to determine hiring needs, coordinate and conduct interviews, oversee the staff review processes, and serves as a human resources representative for staff. Essential Qualities and Qualifications A personal and active relationship with Jesus Christ modeled by a commitment to supporting the vision, leadership and theology of Biltmore Church A Christ-like testimony displayed inside and outside the workplace An expressed passion and calling for serving Jesus in a Kingdom‑minded, fast‑paced, local church setting Prepared to join in membership as an individual/family and make Biltmore Church your home church; active involvement in a weekly Connect Group is encouraged Demonstrates initiative and ability to work effectively with minimal supervision Detail oriented with strong administrative skills for managing multiple projects Strong written and verbal communication skills Must maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive personnel information 3+ years of HR or recruiting experience preferred Responsibilities Create and post all open positions; manage correspondence on View email address on click.appcast.io; schedule interviews; follow up with applicants not hired Consult with hiring managers to define job descriptions and select candidates Review applications/resumes and forward selected candidates to hiring managers Conduct initial phone interviews Create offer packages in partnership with the Executive Team Initiate and coordinate onboarding of new employees Complete required new hire tasks and paperwork Conduct training and orientation on the first day for all new hires Initiate the 90‑day review for new employees Complete offboarding tasks; conduct and document exit interviews; relay exit interview feedback to managers and Executive Team Provide leadership and support to the Receptionist Maintain employee records per policy and legal requirements Act as HR liaison for confidential employee concerns Oversee staff evaluation processes Maintain staff org chart and job descriptions Assist the Executive Team in updating and interpreting the employee handbook Send staff update emails as requested by the Executive Team Reports to Executive Pastor – Ministries & CFO. #J-18808-Ljbffr Biltmore Church
