About the Position

Location: 601 Elmwood Ave, Rochester, NY 14642
Schedule: Day Shift 8*5 40hours/week

• Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM

• Contract: 1 Year ONLY

• Requirements: Weekends, Holidays, On-Call & Callback as needed

• Experience: 2+ years as an Anesthesia Tech

• Certification: BLS Required

• Assist with anesthesia equipment, monitors, medications, supplies & patient preparation

• Support difficult intubations and central line procedures

• Operate cell-saver and support cardiac, liver transplant, vascular, thoracic & trauma cases

• Maintain, set up, calibrate and troubleshoot advanced anesthesia equipment

• Test infusion pumps, nerve stimulators, defibrillators & transport monitors

• Support fiberoptic bronchoscopy equipment and out-of-OR anesthesia procedures

• Set up OR rooms/carts and ensure specialized equipment availability

• Assist with staff training and provide backup to the shift supervisor

• Preferred: Related college/technical education and national Anesthesia Technologist certification
