Service Manager

Berger Communities is hiring an Apartment Maintenance Manager for Apartments at River View in Downtown Pittsburgh, PA. We’re looking for someone who’s hands-on, team-driven, and takes pride in delivering top-notch service every day.

In this role, you’ll be leading a skilled maintenance team, tackling challenges head-on, and keeping our community in great shape. One day you might be troubleshooting a repair, the next you’re coaching your team or finding ways to improve efficiency. If you’re a natural problem-solver who enjoys both leading and doing, you’ll thrive here.

Pay & Benefits

$65,000-$70,000/annually, paid biweekly, plus:

Monthly renewal bonus
Work order completion bonuses
$140/week on-call bonus

What You’ll Do

You’ll be the go-to person for keeping our apartment community running smoothly. That means:

Handling service requests and repairs in apartments and buildings
Getting empty apartments move-in ready
Keeping the grounds, amenities, and common areas looking great
Doing preventive maintenance and inspections
Jumping in on snow removal and sharing on-call shifts
Creating a great resident experience with friendly, professional service
