We love working on BIG problems for a LOT of people and believe that Intro will be the most impactful yet.Role OverviewWe are looking for a Senior/Staff level Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend systems that power our product. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and reliable solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement backend services and APIs that are scalable, reliable, and secure.Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and designers to define and build new features.Optimize performance and scalability of the backend systems.Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior engineers.Identify technical debt and provide recommendations for improvements.What We're Looking For5+ years of experience in backend development.Strong experience with Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or similar backend languages.Expertise in RESTful APIsExperience building ecommerce / payment systemsProficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and test automation.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Our InvestorsWe're backed by Andreessen Horowitz (A16Z), 776, Alexis Ohanian (founder of Reddit), Tiffany Haddish, Kevin Durant, and a group of world-class investors.Company ValuesImpress the customerBe successful as a companyBe creative, inventive, and scrappyKeep it simple and executeTake a moment to understand othersFeedback should make us stronger, not weakerIdeas are important.
