National Sales Director
Moon Township, PA (Pittsburgh area) | On site 4 days, remote 1 day per week | Travel as needed
$50,000-70,000 base salary plus commission (estimated to be an additional $9k-$30k if hitting and/or exceeding goals)

About ARL Network
ARL Network is an agent-based, asset-backed transportation network and 3PL. We have more than 1,000 trucks and 50+ agent terminals, with services spanning freight brokerage, asset-based transport (dry van, flatbed, drayage), and a national agent network.

The Role
The National Sales Director drives new business across the entire ARL Network: brokerage, asset-based transport and drayage, and agent recruiting. This is a new-business role. Once a customer is closed, you transition them to our account service team, which handles all load and operational work, so your time goes to selling.

What You'll Do

• Prospect, qualify, and close new shipper customers across brokerage and asset-based transport
• Recruit established trucking operators and freight brokers to join ARL as agents
• Transition new customers to our account service team, then stay engaged to grow the relationship
• Represent ARL at trade shows, conferences, and customer and agent visits
• Log daily sales activity, calls, and closes in our CRM

Who You'll Sell To

• Mid-size to large shippers, roughly $100M to $999M in annual revenue and 200 to 5,000 employees, with U.S. locations
• Manufacturers, wholesalers, commodity distributors, freight forwarders, and 3PLs
• Manufactured goods, construction and building products, wholesale goods, and import/export containerized freight (non-hazardous)
• Dry van, flatbed, and drayage/containerized modes

What We're Looking For

• Executive-level sales experience with a proven outreach process
• Transportation or logistics sales experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to sell multiple service lines to the same customer
• Willingness to travel for shows and customer and agent visits
• Must live within commuting distance of our Moon Township office
