Position: Scheduling Coordinator

Description: CNA Staffing Coordinator Sipervisor Miracle Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is hiring for a Scheduling Coordinator to maintain the daily scheduling and coordination of Facility Nursing Staff, as well as preparing reports and projects related to scheduling and staffing. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Must have CNA experience and staffing/scheduling experience.
• Confirms and verifies staffing schedules for the nursing departments.
• Communicates and assists in resolving staffing concerns timely.
• Reviews staffing levels as needed on a daily basis.
• Assists in completion and filing of designated reports in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Consults with leadership teams concerning the staffing needs.
• Track individual nursing team member's "call-out" days, vacation days, sick days and paid time off (PTO) and document in accordance with facility policies.
• Review complaints and grievances pertinent to scheduling and staffing with the facility; make necessary oral/written reports to the Director of Nursing.
• Maintain working knowledge of regulatory and legal requirements governing employment.
• Monitor labor hours for nursing team members approaching (or currently in) overtime; avoid overtime hours unless approved by the Director of Nursing or the Administrator in accordance with facility policies.
• Maintain employee attendance records and completion of change in status forms for processing by the human resources team.
• Update the nurse staffing posting throughout the day as census and staffing ratios change.
• Utilize the facility assessment to drive staffing decisions and identify what skills and competencies staff must possess in order to deliver the necessary care required by the residents served.

Position Requirements: Minimum Requirements: Staffing/Scheduling Experience Must be a CNA Ability to meet all health, compliance, and competency requirements. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. One to three years of experience in scheduling for a Skilled Nursing Facility Ability to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with patients/residents, families and staff.
