Regulatory Specialist Job Category: Research & Development Full-Time On-site Corporate Office Fort Wayne, IN, USA Description Job Title: Regulatory Specialist FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Job Family: Research & Development Department: Research & Development Location: Corporate Office (Fort Wayne, IN) Job Summary: Assist in the preparation, filing, and regulatory approval of company products. Position Essential Functions and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Master the product and rate filing submission process, respond to insurance department objections, and obtain filing approval within designated time limits. Understand the compliance requirements and filing procedures in the various states. Understand internal form workflow processes, procedures, and database. Complete other projects as assigned. Education and/or Experience: List Degree Requirement, Years' Experience, and Certifications Must have a Bachelor's degree. The CPCU, ARP or other insurance studies would be beneficial. Experience within the insurance industry and basic knowledge of rating, policy forms and endorsements would be beneficial.
