We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our supermarket team, responsible for handling all types of meat. The role involves precise cutting, trimming, grinding, and portioning to ensure high-quality products. You will work with specialized equipment including meat grinders, slicers, automated cutting machines, and the MELTER TOLEDO SCALE. Occasional customer interaction is expected, along with maintaining sanitation and equipment standards.

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, grind, and portion various types of meat
• Package meat products following quality standards
• Maintain sanitation of work area and tools
• Operate and maintain meat grinders, slicers, automated cutting machines, and scales
• Perform quality control checks on meat products
• Provide occasional customer service and support
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and cleaned

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in meat processing
• Food safety certification
• Proficient in meat cutting techniques and knife skills
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures
• Strong attention to detail
• Customer service experience
