RN TEL Unit 4N Cardiac

Schedule: 12hr Nights; 1900-0730, 3 days per week; Every other weekend

Assignment Details:

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

KS RN License
BLS Certification
Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience
Experience with TR Band's, Cardiac Drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem), and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in a telemetry unit
Monitor cardiac patients and conduct ongoing assessments
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans

Compliance / Notes:

Orientation includes 8 hours non-billable at main campus
Bi-weekly pay period
Completion of background checks and lab work required prior to start
