Machine Operator IV- Chord Cutter, 2nd Shift (#BK-993) Career Description The Machine Operator IV is responsible for operating machinery in a manufacturing environment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Operate machinery according to standard operating procedures. Monitor production output and quality to meet specifications. Operate overhead cranes for efficient material handling. Operate chord cutter. Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment as required. Lifting or moving heavy objects. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Adhere to safety protocols. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Regular, reliable, punctual and consistent attendance. Must be able to work regular and/or flexible hours or shifts, overtime, weekends as required. REQUIREMENTS: Ability to perform all job duties of Machine Operator levels I, II and II I. Min of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing setting preferred. Valid crane certification. 3G welding certification. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent communication with others to exchange information. Frequent repetition of motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. Frequent moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another. Frequent lifting or moving objects up to 50 pounds in all directions. Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Constantly thinking and processing information. Constantly maintaining concentration and focus on tasks. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Manufacturing floor with machinery. Exposure to airborne particles, loud noises, and extreme heat and cold. Use of personal protection equipment is required.
