Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license in Texas
• Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

• Solid organizational and documentation abilities
• Adaptability to work with diverse student backgrounds and learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments to identify students’ occupational therapy needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students in classroom and therapy settings
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into daily activities
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional expertise to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records of evaluations, interventions, and outcomes
• Educate staff and families on strategies to support students’ participation and independence
• Stay informed about current best practices in school-based occupational therapy
