Pricing Data AnalystCurrent In- Office Expectation: You will be required to be in the office 4 days per week @ 241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA.JOB SUMMARYThe Pricing Analysis role provides an exciting opportunity to support the development, evaluation, and optimization of pricing products and rate strategies that help the Company achieve its financial, regulatory, and customer satisfaction objectives. In this role, you will apply data-driven analysis to evaluate existing rates, customer behavior, and emerging pricing opportunities while supporting regulatory initiatives and strategic business decisions.As part of the Pricing & Rates organization, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze large datasets, develop reporting and visualizations, and identify actionable insights that improve operational efficiency and customer value. This position offers opportunities to contribute to innovative pricing strategies, support new product development, and strengthen analytical capabilities through modern tools, programming, and statistical analysis techniques.JOB REQUIREMENTS4-year degree (required) in technical, analytical, business, engineering, economics, statistics, computer science, information systems, or related field is (preferred)Advanced degree and/or certifications a plus but not requiredExperience working within traditional databases and/or data lakes and proficiency in at least one or more programming/query language such as SQL, SAS, Python, or RExperience working with large datasets, data visualization tools, and analytical reportingUtility, regulated industry, or energy market experience preferred but not requiredStrong attention to detail, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skillsAbility to analyze customer behavior, usage patterns, and pricing impacts to identify insights, risks, and opportunitiesAbility to communicate data and findings clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiencesUnderstanding of data analysis techniques, statistical concepts, and trend analysisAbility to manage multiple assignments and collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholdersExposure to cloud-based analytics tools, databases, or modern data platforms is a plusDemonstrate behaviors consistent with Our Values: Safety First, Intentional Inclusion, Act with Integrity, and Superior Performance.JOB RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the execution of pricing and rates focused data analysis and visualizationAssist the design and execute experimental (where feasible) and quasi-experimental research to study cause and effect relationship between pricing and customer behaviorSupport the provision of data to external requestors – including the PSC, third party consultants, and customersInterface with internal customer data and analytics teams, advance pricing design principles, and represent pricing and rates interests Leverage New data and tools to automate processes, improve efficiency and deliver customer valueGeorgia Power is the largest electric subsidiary of Southern Company (NYSE: SO), America's premier energy company.
