TEKsystems is seeking a HPC Systems Administrator to support ongoing operations within a HPC environment. The role will include both hardware break/fix responsibilities as well as Linux Systems Administration tasks.Responsibilities: •On-site technical support for the HPC environment (SGI 8600 compute systems and supporting infrastructure)•Administration and operational support for HPCM cluster management•Support for the HPE Data Management Framework (DMF) storage environment, including coordinating upgrades and system health monitoring, working with DMF team. •CDU cooling system maintenance and troubleshooting•Hardware diagnostics and coordination with the site admin to maintain system stability•Supporting the site admin•Facilitation of weekly operational meetings (Monday’s 12PM) and project coordination - PM roleOther details:•216 Blades (4 Blades per module)•Water cooled•HPE DMF File system•Running multiple Linux OS – RedHat and Suse•Most of the work is keeping the storage system, DMF runningo2 cases open right now to resolve DMF issue•Also, will see occasional issues with tape drives•Occasionally will need to change filter for CDU•Hardware replacements are typically performed by Field CE•InfiniBand troubleshooting will also occasionally be required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
