About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to provide strategic and hands-on leadership for its international restaurant operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a similar role, with a focus on licensing, management agreements, and franchise relationships within an upscale restaurant environment. The COO will be responsible for leading and strengthening the operations team, improving restaurant-level performance and profitability, and ensuring the alignment of various departments to translate the company's vision into clear operational priorities. This role requires a charismatic leader who is visible, accountable, and adaptable across different cultures and business models. The successful COO will have a low ego, be direct in communication, and be able to move easily between big-picture strategy and restaurant-level realities. Key responsibilities include standardizing training materials, creating great accountability, and having the ability to set clear expectations with strong follow-through. The candidate should have at least 5 years' of COO experience, with a background in complex, geographically dispersed restaurant portfolios, new restaurant openings, and a history of growing and scaling companies or leading restaurant turnarounds.
