Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at MotionUp, your primary responsibilities will include assessing patient conditions, implementing established treatment plans, and collaborating with physical therapists to optimize recovery outcomes. You will:

• Assist in therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by supervising physical therapists.
• Monitor patient progress and provide feedback on the effectiveness of treatment plans.
• Document patient interactions and treatment information using point-of-service technology, such as iPads.
• Educate patients and their families about exercises and rehabilitation techniques to support recovery.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Adhere to all regulatory and compliance standards for patient interactions and treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on elderly patients and individuals requiring rehabilitation following surgery or injury. You will engage with patients in skilled nursing facilities, providing compassionate care for those facing mobility challenges. Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or a related field.
